Description: TELEPHONIC REPONSES TO THIS NOTICE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, Alpena, MI, is soliciting for a non-personal service to provide food service support to the dining facility and other annex facilities located at the Alpena CRTC. The requirement involves labor only and includes management of cook 1, cook 2, cashier, and food service worker support. Alpena CRTC is a training installation for the Air National Guard that supports training missions of various units throughout the nation. Unique to this installation is a high fluctuation of meals served and manpower demands, dependent on the number of personnel visiting the installation and the mission requirements. The successful contractor will be required to main tain staffing support to respond to these requirements as well as comply with other federal and state standards set forth in the contract. All work will be performed at the Alpena CRTC. The Government will furnish all facilities and equipment necessary t o maintain operations as well as maintain food ordering processes and menu selection. This solicitation has been set aside for Hubzone concerns and contractors qualifying under the Randolph Sheppard Act. The applicable North American Industrial Classific ation System (NAICS) code is 722310. Interested contractors that qualify under these conditions are encouraged to participate and can obtain a copy of the performance work statement and solicitation by going to the website http://nationalguardcontracting. com or may request a copy to be emailed to them. All prospective offerors must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation shall be posted to the website on or about 1 Apr 08. There will be a site visit conducted. The time and date of the site visit shall be established in the solicitation. This solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract that shall be labo r hours based, and shall include one base year plus two option years. The anticipated award date is 1 Jun 08. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Governments ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation cost.
