Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number assigned to this action is W911YN-08-R-0022. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) from the United States Property and Fiscal Office for Flori da, Purchasing and Contracting Division St. Augustine, FL 32084. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541620, with a Small Business Size Standard of $6.5M. A list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (includ ing option(s) are as follows: CLIN 0001 Cartographic Technician, 1,000 hours and CLIN 0002 Environmental Technician 1,920 hours.) The base year period of performance is 01 April 2008 through 31 March 2009. Option Year 1 will begin on 01 April 2009 throug h 31 March 2010. Option Year 2 will begin on 01 April 2010 through 31 March 2011. Option Year 3 will begin on 01 April 2011 through 31 March 2012. Option Year 4 will begin on 01 April 2012 through 31 March 2013. The total duration of this contract, incl uding the exercise of any options shall not exceed 60 months. A small amount of travel is anticipated for both positions. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation factors to be used are Technical, Past Performance and Price. The provision at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies, and the specific evaluation criteria to be included are Technical, Past Performance and Price. These two positions fall under the Service Contract Act and should be quoted on as such. Wage Determination 2005-2115, Revision 4 dated 29 May 2007 applies for Florida, Clay County.
