- Description
- The intent of this contract is to provide for the routine brushing of forest service roads on the Mt. Baker and Darrington Ranger Districts. The resulting contract will be a performance based, Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery contract with a minimum guarantee of $40,000 with a maximum not to exceed of $70,000. Districts maps showing the road systems are available for purchase at the district offices. Mt. Baker Ranger District is located at 810 State Route 20, Sedro-Woolley WA, 98284. Phone number 360-856-5700. Darrington Ranger District is located at 1405 Emens Street, Darrington WA, 98241. Phone number 360-436-1155. Roads to be brushed will be identified by work orders issued to the Contractor. These roads, at a minimum, are passable with a high clearance vehicle. Most work will be on aggregate surfaced roads and some roads may be paved. The Contactor shall start work, when directed, within three calendar days from the date work orders are issued. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about March 27, 2008. The estimated start work date is on or about June 23, 2008. Contract work time is approx 90 days.
