- Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government intends to issue a sole source contract The contractor (EFW) will modify the Commercial Central Interface Unit (CCIU), Digital Video Recorder (DVR), Color Multi-Functional Displays (CMFDS) Board Support Packages (BSPs) to allow OFP operation of the Ethernet ports during normal computer operation to increase data rate bandwidth for increased aircraft capability as part of the F-16 block 25/30/32 aircraft in accordance with FAR part 15 regulations, Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation will posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under solicitation number FA8232-07-R-1005 on or around August 15, 2007. Award will be made to EFW Inc PO Box 136969, Fort Worth TX 76179-3598. This requirement is considered sole source due to the fact The BSPs for these Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) are EFW proprietary software and can only be modified by EFW. It is anticipated that this requirement will last for a period of 5 years. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541511 (Custom Computer Programming Services) with a small business size standard of $23.0M.
