- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is seeking a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO the following: Vendor Fluke Biomedical part number 451P; Quantity = 4. Essential charac teristics: hand-held battery operated, pressurized ion chamber, improved response to measure radiation rate and dose from x-ray and gamma sources, site surveying capabilities, ion chamber allows for a fast response time to radiation from leakage, scatter b eams and pinholes, analog bar graph, 2.5 digit digital readout and RS-232 interface can be connected directly to a computer for use with MS Excel for Windows. Items are to be shipped directly to Tracy, CA95304. This announcement constitutes solicitation number W81XWH-08-T-0130 by USAMRAA, Ft Detrick, MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and offers must be submitted in writing (oral offers will not be accepted). The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federa l Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The SIC Code is 3829; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519; the FSC 6625.
