- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items under Solicitation Number W911WN-08-R-0007. NAICS code: 333995, Small Business Standard: 500 employees. A subsequent solicitation document will NOT be issued. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, intends to issue a contract for the manufacture and supply of one (1) main chamber valve cylinder, one (1) 110' miter gate cylinder, and one (1) 110' valve cylinder with delivery to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This will be a firm-fixed price award, Total Small Business, with award made to the lowest technically acceptable quoter.
