- NOTE: Solicitation Number W15P7T-08-R-P618 is for internal tracking purposes only. This is a sources sought announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541712. Contractors must identify their business type (i.e., large, small, small and disadvantaged, 8(a) certified, woman-owned small, HUB Zone certified small, or service disabled veteran-owned sma ll business) in their response. The U.S. Army CERDEC Command and Control Directorate (C2D) is conducting a sources sought market survey to identify sources with the interest and capability to provide programmatic, engineering and technical support t o the Joint Services working in conjunction with the Joint Defense Manufacturing Technology Panel (JDMTP). The focus of this support is on high-priority defense manufacturing technology opportunities (e.g., the Next Generation Manufacturing Technology Ini tiative (NGMTI), Disruptive Manufacturing, and High-Performance Defense Manufacturing Technology). The services being provided relate to multiple technologies, including but not limited to: power sources, lead free soldering, wide band gap and RF modules. In addition, engineering and technical support will be provided to the Power Sources Technology Working Group (TWG) to identify ManTech Power Source initiatives with respect to identifying manufacturing, producibility and affordability issues, strategies and solutions. Award is expected to be a two-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This sources sought notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids/proposals. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought announcement. Responses will assist the Government in determining whether to set-aside/restrict competition in some w ay or solicit offers from all responsible sources. All respondents are required to complete the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) process to be considered eligible for any potential Department of Defense contracts. CCR registration information can be o btained at http://www.ccr.gov/. Responses to this notice must be provided no later than 4pm EDT, 27 March 2008. Respondents may submit their interest and ability to satisfy the Governments requirement via email to the point of contact listed below. Respon ses must be no longer than three (3) pages in length and should include a description of capabilities, technical expertise, and relevant past experience.
