- Federal Supply Class (FSC) 6810, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 331492, NSN: 6810-01-530-9407. Magnesium Powder, MIL-DTL-382D, Type III, Gran 17 (atomized) Special, exception NTE 2% Fines through the #100 sieve, minimum quantity is 0, estimated maximum quantity is 2,500 Drums (100 pounds per drum and marked with lot number, batch number, and drum number). The contract will include a 200% Option quantity. This will be a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements contract, FOB Destin ation, Crane Army Ammunition Plant, Crane, IN. Delivery of Magnesium Powder shall be 3 weeks after date of receipt of delivery order. Certificate of Analysis is required WITH proposal. Certificate of Conformance required with each shipment. Hazardous W arning Label and MSDS required with proposal and each shipment. Certificate of Analysis required with proposal and each shipment. Contractors may be required to submit a 5 lb sample of the Magnesium Powder IAW MIL-DTL-382D for testing prior to award of thi s contract. Electronic bid submission will ONLY be accepted in response to this solicitation IF and ONLY IF the completed solicitation is included as an attachment in its ENTIRETY. Otherwise, all proposals must be faxed or mailed in by the specified date and time. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or contact CCR at 1-888-227-2423. Approximate issue date of the solicit ation is 26 March 08 with the opening date 20 Days from issue.
