- Description
- Travis AFB intends to award a sole-source order for one year preventive maintenance on VISX Excimer Laser System and VISX Wavescan Wavefront System to AMO USA, Inc. The excimer laser is highly sensitive medical equipment that must be maintained to exact manufacturer?s specifications to ensure safe and effective ophthalmic applications. The field engineers who will perform services required by the medical center have been trained and certified by the original equipment manufacturer, VISX, to perform the services on the laser system. VISX identified AMO USA, Inc. as the only company authorized to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NAICS Code 811219 applies, size standard $6.5 Million. SIC 7699 applies.
