- Description
- Work includes demolition of the entire exsiting pool facility located at the Homestead Job Corps Center. The affected area is approximately 53,000 sq ft and includes, but is not limited to demolition of the existing one story elaveted Pool House, roof top sun bathing deck, and the attached filtered/storage room (approx. 2,400 s.f. floor area plus 2,400s.f. concrete roof deck), concrete floor slab, sloping twelve foot deep swimming pool (approx. 11,200s.f.),wasing pool (approximately 500 s.f.) concrete deck (approx. 17,000 s.f.), concrete walks and stairs, fencing and earth berms. Thw work also includes removal of all debris from the site, disposal of all debris in accordance with all applicable codes and laws, and preparing and grading the entire site for positive drainage, and the installation of sod. The 8" high fencing surronding the pool deck sahll be removed witht eh intent of reinstallation. The contractor is to remove the fence and posts in such manner that the fence and posts can be re-installed. The contractor shall submit wiht the bid and add-alteranate proposal for the re-installtion of the fence along the north property line of the center at the side of the dormitories.
