- Description
- The subject requirement is for acquisition of (1) NSN:for multiple end items. This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4730. See Note(s): 1, 9, 22 and 26. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about April 4, 2008 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp.The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for a 1/G code type item This AMSC code implies that the part is based on drawings and full and open competition applies with regulations and distribution limited to those contractors qualified through JCP certification. Contracts will be awarded only to those with JCP certification issued prior to award. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set Aside using full and open competition after exclusion of sources.
