- The Social Security Administration intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b) ?Soliciting from a Single Source? with Accellos, Inc., 90 S. Cascade Ave, #1200, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 for Radio Beacon WMS Gold level Maintenance Renewal, on government owned software currently installed an in use as follows: CLIN 0001: 100-user site at 6301 Security Blvd, Baltimore, MD March 19, 2008 to March 18, 2009; CLIN 0002: 54-user site at 5107 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA, March 19, 2008 to March 18, 2009. In Baltimore, the software solution provides the logistics support for SSA?s supply management, customer ordering, and warehouse operations. The system has been in place since 1998 and is currently integrated within SSA?s Inventory Management and Intranet Supply Ordering modules that were developed by Radio Beacon Inc. In Virginia, the software solution provides the logistics support for SSA?s for tracking files. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill this requirement. A solicitation is NOT available. Therefore, written and/or verbal requests for copies of a solicitation related to this announcement will not be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
