- The United States Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), 2200 Lester Street, Quantico, Virginia 22134 - Intent to Sole Source This is a notice of intent to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract M67854-08-P-4219 to Avocent Huntsville Corp., 4991 Corporate Drive, Huntsville, AL 35805. This acquisition will be accomplished using FAR Part 12 and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, for Other Than Full & Open Competition. This notice is not a request for offers. The Government currently has Acvocent KVM/KMM devices installed which allows interoperability between systems. Therefore like items must be purchased. If unlike items are purchased it will ultimately lead to significant higher costs to operate the environment, as these devices were looked at, however to use other devices the current devices would have to be replaced and this is not cost effective as the current device function properly and are within warrantee. This software will be licensed to the United States Marine Corps MCNOSC Office, Quantico, Virginia. The anticipated date of award is March 12, 2008 in the amount of $49,910.00.
