- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center has a requirement for the publication and distribution of a Civilian enterprise (CE) requirement unofficial weekly newspaper for Naval air station Lemoore, CA entitled, "The Golden Eage". All proceeds from the sale of advertisements shall belong to the publisher, who shall look exclusively to such advertising for all publishing costs and profits, and shall constitute consideration. The requirement is for 6,000 copies weekly for 51 weeks each year. The contract shall be for a base 2 year period and provides for two (2) additional 2-year option periods for a toal not to exceed sic (6) years. It must be noted that CE contracts are not subject to Federal acquisition Regulations (FAR), or the Defense Federal acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), since they are based on an exception to the government Printing and Binding Regulations published by the Congressional Joint Committee on Printing. All offerors will be required to su mit a technical proposal in accordance with the instructions in the solicitation. Issuance date of the solicitation is estimated as 3/28/08. Contractors wishing to do business with the government must be registered in the CCR. Contractors may register in the CCR at www.ccr.com.
