Description
The United States Government has a requirement to install facilities consisting of a Modular Live Fire (LF) Shoot House and an associated Modular After Action Review (AAR) Structure to support LF urban operations training world wide. The TACOM Life Cycle Management Command intends to award a 5-Year, Firm Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for Modular Live Fire Shoot House. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 1 lot. The maximum contract quantity is 7 lots. This procurement action is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. FOB shall be Destination. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at destination. Requested delivery shall be between 60 to 120 days after receipt of order. A solicitation is forthcoming and all specif ications and requirements shall be listed therein. The Shoot House shall provide an open air setup with catwalk installed above the walls and an overarching, non ballistic, roof that will cover the whole LF shoothouse. The Shoothouse will also be equipped with video with day and night capture, 100% camera coverage, and provide a training capability of 1,400 square feet. The Shoot House layout shall be in accordance with (IAW) Figure D-22 FCC 17879 Live Fire Exercise Shoot House in Training circular (TC) 25- 8. The Modular AAR shall be physically separated from the Shoothouse and be connected through hardwired communication lines for transmission of audio and video information. The AAR shall house a control room and classroom. Audio/visual equipment shall p rovide 100% coverage of shoothouse activity. Approximate solicitation date is 25 March 2008. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102; therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Interested parties must periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain the solicitation and any amendments. Failure to obtain amendments and r espond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render offers non-responsive and result in rejection of offer. Numbered Notes 1 and Note 12 apply.
