- This is a requirement for maintenance and overhaul (M&O) of the subject item for the UH-60M aircraft. No surplus parts shall be used or applied. Transmission Best Estimated Quantity Range: 5 each to 155 each Which Includes 31 each FMS<BR > INPUT/OUTPUT NSN: 1615-01-542-7514 INPUT/OUTPUT P/N: 70351-58100-046 The proposed contractual action will be a five year M&O requirements contract for the best estimated quantity range stated above. The contractor shall furnish all de pot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment and materials for the M&O. Authority cited is Title 10 United States Code (USC) 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other suppl ies or services will satisfy this agencys requirement. This item is identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This requirement is sole source because there is no DMWR identified for this requirement. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is Sikor sky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614-1378 (CAGE: 78286). Since no DMWR has been identified for this requirement, the overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with best commercial practices, manufacturer blueprints and contr actor specifications. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlin ed at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. Award of this requireme nt will not be withheld pending source approval. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitations must be processed through their respective embassies. All responsible sources that can perform the above effort may submit an offer that shall be considered by the Agency. This requirement is currently unfunded.
