- A market survey is being conducted to locate SBA certified HubZone; 8(a); SDVOSB, small local business contractors, who are deemed qualified to provide catering and/or on site food preparation for all Federal Training missions located in New Orleans, Lake Charles, Slidell, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Pineville Louisiana areas. The contractor shall provide all personnel; supervisory, administrative and direct labor, who will be required to accomplish all work associated with this contract. The cont ractor may also be required to provide additional personnel as required for sustained contingency operations. Generally orders are placed monthly for 2 days of meals. The subsistence and other items as required will be defined in a 15 day menu. Depe nding on the length of training; the contractor tasks include, but are not limited to, off or on-site preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals and or/delivery of food to dining facility (for catered meals). At a minimum, contractors will serve the appropriate amount of food (as required per the menu/order) and execute limited cleanup of the area. Contractors will also be required to remove all subsistence and other items, if storing food on-site, upon completion of the mission. Warming/c ooling beverages consisting of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soup, and cold powdered beverage mixes may be required and applied to various training missions. All work, on and off-site will be evaluated by performance standards, which will be stipulated i n a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan. The Government intends to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements with selected vendors in each area and rotate requirements accordingly. The contract duration will be issued for a period of one-year (to i nclude 4 option years). In order to be considered for these services the contractor must have relevant experience, which is defined as a) working as the prime contractor; b) completing or in the process of performing similar services, within the last five (5) years; and c) projects must be of similar scope. All contractors interested in performing these services must submit a written response to this office by email to 1LT Chad Travis at chad.travis@us.army.mil and Major Jason Meyers at jason.meye rs@us.army.mil at ) by 7 April, 2008 1100am CST. The responses shall include 1) municipality in which your business is located; 2) area of state you are willing to serve 3) identification of the appropriate business classification (to include 8(a), HubZ one or SDVOSB, or small business (using NAICS code is 722320 @ $6.5 million.), 4) past experience; to include a brief description of similar services performed 5) capability to provide services and 6) a statement verifying that the prime contractor will ph ysically perform at least 20% of the work. This is a 100% total small business set-aside. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) (www.ccr.gov). If you are not registered you may request an appli cation through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. This is NOT a request for proposal and does not constitute any commitment by the contractor or Government to perform these services. Responses to this notice will only be used by the Government to m ake appropriate acquisition decisions. The execution of this project is subject to availability of Federal Funds.
