- Description
- This is a requirement for the overhaul of the A-10 aileron actuator. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the A-10 aileron actuator. A firm fixed priced Minimum/Maximum, Indefinite Quantity contract for three (3) years is contemplated. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 1650-01-012-9154, P/N: 2730500-5, Noun, aileron actuator; Applicable to A-10 aircraft; Quantity: min-40 ea, max-69 ea; Item 0002: Over and Above Work. Item 0003: Data IAW DD 1423. Deliveries are to be 7 each per month 30 days after receipt of order and reparables. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 25 Mar 2008. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVED SOURCES are: Parker Hannifin, Irvine, CA Cage Code 92003. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
