The DEC interfaces with components of the main engine control subsystem, augmenter control subsystem, and the aircraft. This control also provides engine cycle counting, monitoring, and data acquisition for transmission to other airframe equipment. This data is used in failure detection and fault isolation of engine and control system faults. Dimensions: App 16 inches long and 14 inches wide and 6 inches deep. Required Delivery: 31 March 2011 Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
