- THIS PROCUREMENT IS TOTALLY SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The Smithsonian Institution (SI) is seeking offers for the replacement of facilities water service and utilities at the National Zoological Park's Veterinarian Hospital located at 3000 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. The North American Industry Classifications is 237110, size standard $28.5 million. All responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Smithsonian Institution. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will consist of two parts. Part 1: Technical Proposal in which the Offerors establish their qualifications in accordance with the following Evaluation Standards: (1)Firm's Experience and Past Performance; (2) Plan of Accomplishment and Contract Time; and (3) Key Personnel and Subcontractors. Part 2: Schedule of Values and Contract Price. The Estimated Price Range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) prior to award. Registration may be accomplished at www.ccr2000.com/index.cfm or 1-888-CCR-2423. Period of Performance is 90 calendar days from date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Issuance o/a March 13, 2008; receipt of proposals April 15, 2008.
