- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-08-T-0106 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 4 Mar 2008. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 236220. THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN, OKINAWA PREFECTURE. AWARDS CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED TO OPERATE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. Required Items and Descriptions are as follows: Item 0001: Seismic Restraints, Galvanized. Item 0002: Pipe, Connector. Item 0003: Ladder, Galvanized. The contractor shall perform the work in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and Drawing in Attachment I and II. Locations: Camp Fuji, Shizuoka, Japan The Government may make single award to the responsible offer(s) which is/are the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best value evaluation process. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal. The solicitation (Request for Quotation), when it is released it will be available electronically at the following web site http://www.neco.navy.mil and or http://www1.fbo.gov under solicitation M67400-08-T-0106. The solicitation also will be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed. Offers can be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Contracting Office, U.S. Marine Corps RCO, MCB CAMP S. D. BUTLER, PSC 557 BOX 200 0, FPO AP 96379-2000. Offers must be received no later than 15:30, Japanese Standard Time, 14 March 2008.
