- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation M67865-08-TH001 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). This acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 451140 - Musical Instruments and Supplies Stores. This RFQ is issued as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR part 13) and is issued in anticipation of a firm fixed price contract for a Bosendorfer Grand Piano, model 214CS. No paper copies of this solicitation will be provided. The Government intends to award an order, resulting from this solicitation, to the responsible offeror who offer is the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors cons idered. All quotes, and other correspondence are due 1600 (4 pm) PST on 10 Mar 2008 and can be submitted via email or by mail.
