- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Tractor and Snowblower Purchase McAlpine Lock & Dam Solicitation W912QR-08-T-0013 This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses, NAICS 333111, 500 Employees . Award will be based on price (including delivery charges), Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, delivery date and CCR Registration (see below). Delivery Address: McAlpine Lock and Dam, 802 North 27th Street, Louisville, KY. 40212 All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration prior to award of a contract. All proposed contractors are highly encouraged to review FAR Clause 52.232-33 Payments By Electronic Funds Transf er Central Contractors Registration (Oct. 2003), which indicates All payments by the Government under this contract shall be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT). Those not currently registered can obtain registration by going to the website http: //www.ccr.gov. The process can usually be completed from 24 to 48 hours after submission. Contractors will need to obtain a DUNS number for processing their registration. If you do not already have a DUNS number, one can be obtained from Dunn and Bradst reet by calling 1-888-814-1435. Please begin the registration process immediately in order to avoid delay of the contract award should your firm be selected. CCR registration may also be considered before award of the contract.
