- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. TACOM-ROCK ISLAND IS SEEKING TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL SOURCES WHO HAVE THE CAPABILITY AND EXPERIENCE TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SUPPLY ITEM: The Tube, Bent, Met allic P/N: 5-45-5164 is a small pipe approximately 7 inches long made of an aluminum alloy with a .840 inch outer diameter and a .109 inch thick wall. One end of the tube has ?-14 NPT threading. The tube must be bent to an approximate 60 degree angle wi th a bend radius of 2.00 inches. After the bend is correctly located, the tube must have a length of 5.188 inches and a height of 4.052 inches. Acceptable materials are aluminum alloys 6061 T6 or 6063 T6, Pipe, Schedule 40 per ASTM B429. It is anti cipated there will be a Firm Fixed Price long term Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with five ordering periods. The following information is requested: 1 .
