- Description
- This is a notice of the intent to conduct a sole source acquisition for a commercial item, to be awarded to the Industrial Door Contractors, Inc. This is sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Description is as follows: Non-personal services. The contractor shall provide all travel, plans, supervision, materials, design, and labor necessary to switch out differing hangar door aircraft tail apertures for Building 285 at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Only one hangar door is to be so modified; the one on the side facing northeast which was formerly the C-5 repair bay. The aperture door and controls/safeties are designed and built by the Industrial Door Contractors, Inc. If any other businesses are able to meet this need they must respond to this notice by 1600 CST on 10 Mar 08. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with the Industrial Door Contractors, Inc. will be pursued.
