- Description
- The Western Area Power Administration intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis a complete tear down, inspection, and rebuild of booms, turret, controls, and outriggers on a Live-Line Manlift from Altec. This is a sole source as this is the actual manufacturer of the manlift. Western believes Altec is the only known source that has the proprietary information to provide this complete tear down, inspection, and rebuild of booms, turret, controls, and outriggers on a Live-Line Manlift. Anticipated award is 12 Mar 08. This notice is not a request for proposals/quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government???s requirements by emailing the CS or faxing the CS at 970-240-6314 by 10 Mar 08. Capability statements must include documentation ability to satisfy the Government???s requirements. Any information received will be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. Interested persons should identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
