- The presolicitation notice, dated 24 October 2007, for solicitation #M6785408R7009 is hereby modified as follows: The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) intends to issue a competitive solicitation (M67854-08-R-7009) for the procurement of the Multi-Band Radio (MBR) system for the manpack configuration. The Contractor shall produce and deliver a manpack configuration along with associated documentation, provide logistic support, technical support, field service support, training support CONUS and OCONUS (training is not in a combat zone), training manuals, spares, and other ancillary items in support of the manpack configuration. The Government anticipates entering into a Firm Fixed Price, T&M, and Cost, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type of contract with a five year ordering period. The Government's estimated minimum and maximum ordering amounts are $50M and $350M respectively. The Government's release date of the solicitation is projected for end of January or early February 2008. All terms and conditions will be identified in the solicitation. The solicitation ! will be available to interested parties through both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) and Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) websites (http://www.fbo.gov and http://www.neco.navy.mil, respectively). It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently watch both of the websites for updates to any and all documents. Potential Offerors are responsible for downloading their copy of the solicitation and amendments, if any. A written solicitation and amendments will not be issued. In order to be eligible for award, interested parties must be registered into the Central Contractor database (CCR). The website for CCR is http://www.ccr.gov PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE CONTACT POINT LISTED ABOVE. A due date for questions and/or clarification will be included into the solicitation. NO TELEPHONIC RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (22-JAN-2008).
