Description
As a result of a previous presolicitation notice, M6785407R7049 and all amendments, being cancelled in their entirety, and along with the additional cancellation of the subsequent planned General Services Administration Schedule e-Buy solicitation, the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) intends to issue a competitive solicitation (M67854-08-R-7009) for the procurement of Multi-Band Radio (MBR) systems comprised of both manpack and vehicular configurations. The Contractor shall produce and deliver manpack and vehicular radio configurations, associated documentation, provide logistic support, technical support, field service support, training support CONUS and OCONUS (training is not in a combat zone), training manuals, spares, and other ancillary items. The Government anticipates entering into a Firm Fixed Price, Cost, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type of contract with a five year ordering period. The Government’s minimum and maximum ordering am! ounts are $100M and $500M, respectively. The Government’s release date of the solicitation is projected for end of November 2007. All terms and conditions will be identified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available to interested parties through both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) and Navy Electronic Online (NECO) websites (http://www.fbo.gov and http://www.neco.navy.mil, respectively). It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently watch both of the websites for updates to any and all documents. Potential Offerors are responsible for downloading their copy of the solicitation and amendments, if any. A written solicitation and amendments will not be issued. In order to be eligible for award, interested parties must be registered into the Central Contractor database (CCR). The website for CCR is http://www.ccr.gov PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE CONTACT POINT LISTED ABOVE. A due date for questions and/or clarification will be ! included into the solicitation.
