- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of an estimated quantity of 40 each 20-Foot, ISO, Cargo-Worthy, Steel Shipping Containers. Items may be new or used and must be suitable for worldwide shipping. Items must have current Container Safety Convention (CSC) inspection plate with at least 24 months remaining before expiration. This procurement will be conducted under full and open competition, after exclusion of large business sources. The procurement shall be 100 percent set-aside for small businesses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332439, and the size standard is 500 employees. The estimated release date for the formal RFP is 4 March 2008. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. No paper distribution of these documents will be provided.
