Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W91CRB-08-T-0056 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation docum ent and incorporated provisions to clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-22, effective 24 December 2007. This action will be solicited as a full and open competition. The NAICS code for this action is 334220. Requirem ent is for 3 (Three) each Tactical Communications Modems, NSN 5895-01-493-4396. This is an FMS Requirement for the Government of Egypt under FMS Case EG-B-UTN. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination. Items shall be shipped to freight forwarder in Hanover , MD 21076-3183. Contractor to provide best commercial standard of packaging for overseas shipment and storage. Offerors shall propose firm, fixed-price that includes shipping to the freight forwarder. Exact delivery instructions will be provided with t he contract. Desired delivery 28 March 2008, however, offerors are encouraged to propose alternate delivery schedules if delivery cannot be met. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation  Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Contracting Officer shall award the contract to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. An offeror shall complete only paragraph (j) of 52.212-3 if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov . If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (b) through (i) of this provision and provide it with offers. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Comme rcial Items, applies to this acquisition.
