- Description
- The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, intends to make a sole source award to TEAC Aerospace Technologies. This requirement is to provide the Fort Drum Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB) 32 Airborne Digital Mission Data Recorders (MDR-80C) and removable memory modules (80RMM-FD16-USB) for OH-58D CDS2 Kiowa helicopters. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures, and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticip ated award date is 29 February 2008. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals, nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement is based on only one source with the ability to provide these i tems. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion o f the Government.
