- Provide all labor, equipment, parts, consumables, transportation, facilities, and incidentals to provide engineering support effort to assist the Maintenance Support Squadron in development and update of existing training and classroom instruction. Services include: job-specific courseware, classroom training, and routine record keeping. Maintenance of the training material is also required. Contractor shall complete all tasks within 12 months after contract award. The government is contemplating awarding a commercial Firm-Fixed Price type contract. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors shall have completed annual representations and certification electronically via the ORCA website at http://orca.bpn.gov. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminsh the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
