Solicitation close date is extended to 03/11/2008. Signed copy of Amendment 0002 will be required with all offers. ### *** Please see Amendment 0001 issued 02/12/2008. Amendment details a correction to GFP and extension of solicitation close date. Signed copy of Amendment 0001 will be required with all offers. *** The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC, Oklahoma City, OK, has a requirement for an estimated annual quantity of 46 each Teradyne (formerly GenRad) Teststation 86/2286 Test Interface Fixtures. Statement of Work is provided; drawings are available upon request in writing (as specified in the Screening Information Request or SIR). The requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The principal North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this effort is 334515 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The proposed Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract contains a minimum quantity guarantee of 16 each. Contractor's standard commercial warranty is required. Any contract awarded resulting from this SIR will contain the AMS Clause 3.3.1-33 Central Contractor Registration (April 2006). Award cannot be made to a vendor that has not completed this registration. Offers are required to complete and submit the attached Business Declaration Form with their proposal. Offers submitted electronically will be accepted and must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the SIR. Offers must be received by 4:00 p.m. CST, February 29, 2008. Any inquiries regarding this SIR must be submitted to the contract specialist (Jamie Mansell, email: jamie.mansell@faa.gov) in writing and clearly labeled with the SIR number DTFAAC-08-R-00586. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested technical documentation. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
