- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Safford, Arizona. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed outputs. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided may include inpatient/outpatient hospital and physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity and requirements type with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the contract periods are as follows: Base period and Option Year 1: Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 10 Days - Estimated Maximum 50 Days; Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 50 Visits - Estimated Maximum 150 Visits. Option Years 2 through 4: Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 15 Days - Estimated Maximum 60 Days; Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 50 Visits - Estimated Maximum 150 Visits. Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on/or about March 28, 2008, and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on/or about May 13, 2008. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
