- Description
- Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to replace the tower and perform miscellaneous associated work at Hog Back Light #14 which is located in the East River south of the Triboro Bridge and off the southern end of Wards Island, NY City. The work also includes the placement of 200 tons of rip-rap. This Invitation for Bids is 100% set-aside for small business participation for which the applicable small business size standard is $31 Million average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years. This project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable NAICS code is 237990. A 20% Bid Bond is required for bids in excess of $100,000. A 100% Payment Bond will be required for awards in excess of $30,000 and a 100% Performance Bond will be required for awards in excess of $100,000. A 20% Bid Bond is required for bids in excess of $100,000. The entire project must be completed within 60 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The tentative bid issuance date is 17 March 2008 and the tentative bid opening date is 16 April 2008. All relevant solicitation documents including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download for free commencing on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov/. Any amendments issued under this solicitation shall also be posted on this website. Vendors are required to be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) at www.fedteds.gov to download the technical data package.
