- Description
- This is a combined/solicitation Notice of Intent for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is NOI8216 Notice of Intent and the solicitation is being used as a sole source basis. This solicitation document and its incorporated provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-11). This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is not a Small Business concern. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) intend to procure maintenance from EMC Corporation-this vendor is to provide the following maintenance: Network Server Power Edition, Networker Management Console, Network Access Control, Network Client Connections, Network SNMP Module, Network Client Pak for Windows, Network Dynamic Drive Sharing, Network Client Connection Qty 5, Networker Client Pak for Unix, Network Administration Connection, Networker Cluster Client Conn Windows, Networker SNMP Module, Networker Clientpak for Mac OS-X, Networker Power Edition Storage Windows, Networker Client Conn Qty25, Network VSS Client for windows Qty 25Network Autochanger Stwr, Networker Power Storage Linuxage, Network NDMP Client Connection TIER 4, Network Autochanger Software, Networker Management console w/access control, Networker Administration, Networker Network ED DED STG NODE. The Period of Performance will be from date of award through December 31, 2008. The North American Industry Classification System (NIACS) code for this acquisition is 811310, and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. This is a firm-fixed price contract and the FOB terms are Destination and Net 30. FAR provisions and clauses that apply to this acquisition FAR52.212-1, instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items FAR52.22-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive orders, commercial items; FAR 52.232-34, Payment by electronic funds transfer-other than Central Contractor Registration. In order to be considered for an award, an offeror must have completed the on-line electronic Representatives and Certifications located at http:/orca.bpn.gov/ in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a). By submission of an offer, the offer acknowledges the requirement that prospective awardee shall be registered in CCR at www.ccr.gov/prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation.
