- Water Chiller Maintenance. Andrews Air Force Base is intending to award a firm fixed price (FFP) service contract for water chiller maintenance at Andrews AFB. This commercial acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items or services necessary to perform all operations in connection with the work associated in performing service maintenance, to ensure proper operation, of several chiller systems at the following facilities buildings 1413, 1513, 1220 & 1245 located on Andrews AFB, MD. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 238220. The period of peformance will be from 1 January 2007 to 31 December 2008. The Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 19.502, this action is 100% set-aside for small businesses. Offers shall be reviewed and considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
