- Description
- This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposals in response to a requirement for electronic research services. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking to obtain, through competitively awarded fixed-price contracts, a suite of robust electronic research services to meet the agency's electronic research needs and consists of three award groups: Portable CD ROM Tax Service, Tax Research Services and Comprehensive Research Services. The Government will evaluate each award group as a separate entity and could potentially award three contracts. The period of performance will consist of a base year commencing on January 1, 2009 and four one-year option periods. The contemplated contract type is Firm Fixed Price (FFP)/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). This procurement will be conducted as a full and open competition in accordance with the policies under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with the policies and procedures in FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.
