- Description
- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36; Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to REHABILITATE PARALLEL DIKE AT EAST POL, MACKAY ISLAND NWR, Knotts Island, NC. Performance of work will be in accordance with specifications and drawings within the solicitation. The NAICS Code is 237110. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Small Business size standard is $31Million.The RFP will be issued electronically on or after February 28, 2008 on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.fbo.gov. The Response Date will be determined based on the date of release of the RFQ. Responses to the RFP will not be accepted electronically. Failure to comply will result in immediate rejection of the offer. Questions or clarifications regarding the solicitation shall immediately be addressed in e-mail to Evelyn_Bradley@fws.gov. PLEASE DEFER ALL QUESTIONS UNTIL AFTER RELEASE OF THE RFP. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any amendments/modifications to any and all documents. It is anticipated the following viewers will be required to view the solication, attachments and amendments posted: Microsoft Word (.doc) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf). A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded, with a performance period of 120 calendar days. Anticipated date of award will be on or before April 22, 2007. NOTE: In order to be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and complete the online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov. All offerors must also have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet, http://www.dnb.com. Telephone requests for solicitations/amendments will not be accepted. All offers must be received at this office not later than the date and time specified in the solicitation or any amendments thereto.
