Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Boulder City Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award, on a sole source basis a purchase order to GE Fanuc Automation Americas, Inc., Charlottesville, VA, c/o Technical Marketing Manufacturing, Inc. (TMMI), for iFIX Plus SCADA Pak Unlimited Runtime Ver 4.5, and a GlobalCare Complete Site Maintenance contract. Sole Source Justification: GE Fanuc Automation Americans, Inc., is the only manufacturer of HMI/SCADA License Keys that activate new iFIX software currently installed for the onset of Lower Colorado Dam Office Unit Control Modernization currently in progress. Technical Marketing Manufacturing, Inc., is the sole partner for GE Fanuc for the purchase and distribution of HMI/SCADA License Keys. The purchase of the new keys is at a cost discount because of the existing GlobalCare Maintenance contract in already in place, and will allow an additional cost savings by allowing price cuts when trading up the existing HMI/SCADA License key inventory now in place. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is March 10, 2008.
