- The proposed acquisition is a small business set-aside. Offers from other than small business concerns will not be considered. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $6.5 million dollars in aver age annual receipts as determined by 13 CFR 121.104. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is issuing a solicitation for commercial service-supply prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6 for the herbicide treat ment of Dworshak Dam and Reservoir Land and Water Areas utilizing commercial practices. The work is located around Dworshak Dam and Reservoir near Orofino, Idaho. The areas designated for treatment include: the immediate area around Ahsahka and Dworshak D am, Canyon Creek Campground, Dent Acres Campground, Dent Group Camp, Dent Trail, Grandad Elk Mitigation Area, and Merrys Bay Recreation Area. A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD Thursday, March 6 at 9:00 am PST. (Although the Site Visit is not mandatory to be eligible to quote on this Solicitation, it is recommended). The sol icitation will be available for downloading on or about February 29, 2008. QUOTATIONS are due March 13, 11:00 AM Pacific Time. Offerors need to include a completed copy of provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with its offer. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
