- Description
- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intend to award a Simplified Acquisition project entitled Support for the ESRD Program during the New Regulation Transition Phase on a sole source basis to BBG Consulting, LLC., 7922 Washington Avenue, Alexandria, VA 223085-1241. The contractor shall provide support for the ESRD Program during the transition to the new ESRD regulations. This support includes assistance with the analysis and interpretation of the new ESRD regulations, development of a new ESRD training program, and updating the automated survey system. The contractor shall plan, implement and provide a records of several ERSD Transition Planning Meetings which 1) focuses on crosswalks of old/new regulations and old/new tags in the automated survey system; development of Interpretive Guidelines; and work products for survey or training etc. 2) focuses on development of public information materials; updating surveyor guidance and work products for surveyor training. 3) Ensure that support is provided for technical training on reprocessing of dialyzers. The contractor shall submit reports on all meetings. The contractor must have extensive experience in delivering ESRD treatments. The contractor must have expert knowledge in automated ESRD System titled Surveyor Technical Assistant for Renal (STAR). The contractor must be familiar with the ESRD Conditions for Coverage. All responsible sources may submit capability statements, which shall be considered by the agency in accordance with the requirements in the synopsis.
