- Description
- SYNOPSIS: The GSA Automotive Acquisition Support Division will procure three (3), Trucks, Diesel, Crew Cab, 4x2, Van Body, Modified for the U.S. Air Force. The vehicles will be mounted on a current year (2008) model truck chassis and include a cold climate engine, oil pan and cab heaters, an overhead hoist, shore power, van interior heaters, interior and exterior lighting, e-track cargo control and a hydraulic tailgate. The solicitation will include a detailed purchase description. The procurement is open to all responsive and responsible offerors. Offers submitted must be in English and U.S. Dollars. One award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system at www.ccr.gov and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at www.orca.bpn.gov. Delivery is FOB Destination. First production vehicle will be built and presented for inspection within 180 days after receipt of order. The remaining two (2) vehicles will be built and presented for inspection 45 day after the first production vehicle is accepted.The contract will be a fixed price, requirement type contract with a one year base period and four (4), one year options. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 13, 2008 and close on or about April 12, 2008. The solicitation will not be available in paper copies and it must be downloaded at Fedbizopps.gov.
