- This announcement was previously posted on http://fedbizopps.gov under Solicitation Number 301818Q162 on 02/14/08. The announcement number is changed to 301818Q182 due to technical errors. There will be no time extension for this announcement. Project consists of furnishing all labor, tools, and materials necessary in accordance with Statement of Work and Specifications for construction of two (2) identical Portable Trailers that will be outfitted with a variety of scientific equipment to be delivered to the Ludington Biological Station, Ludington, Michigan. The trailers must be rugged and of sturdy construction for use on and off road areas. The trailer dimensions will be 14 feet long x 8 feet wide and 7 feet high interior ceiling. Trailer weight and size will not exceed Commercial Driver's License rating (below 10,000 lbs. with equipment on board. This procurement will be total set-aside for small business concerns. The North America Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 336214, Utility Trailers, Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees or less to be used to determine business status. The solicitation package will be available via electric commerce at http://fedbizopps.gov on or about 02/29/2008 with quotes due on 03/20/2008. If your firm is interested in being placed on an electronic bidder's list, you are encouraged to use the website listed above to add your name. No telephone calls for the solicitation can be accepted. The solicitation will not be available in hard copy. The solicitation package will consist of separate files for a standard form used for submission of a Request for Quote, the Specifications, Drawings and the prevailing wage determination.
