- This project is for the repair and replacement of missing deck and curb bolts on the Rock Island Arsenal Government Bridge. This bridge spans the Mississippi River connecting the Rock Island Arsenal, IL , to downtown Davenport, IA. The req uirement is a result of an inspection investigating the condition of the welded studs connecting the roadway deck grating panels to the bridge superstructure and the bolts connecting the curb sections to the roadway deck grating panels. The bridge is an 8 span steel truss bridge that carries two lanes of traffic on the lower deck and double tracks for railway traffic on the upper deck. The rough order of magnitude for this proposed procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is unres tricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, NAICS code 237310/$31,000,000. The solicitation, plans and specifications will be available on or about March 13, 2008. The solicitation and specification will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
