- Description
- Full food service requirement is being issued pursuant to the Randolph-Sheppard Act under the Maryland business enterprise program with Maryland State License agency for the Blind. The requirement will be competed against SBA 8(a) firms and the Stat e License Agency for the Blind. The award will be made based on the Randolph-Sheppard Act procedures (regulation on AR 210-25 section 6 paragraph 7(b)). CLASS CODE [S] represents Federal Supply Class S203--FOOD SERVICE. This requirement has limited comp etition to eligible 8(a) firms in geographical area of Virginia, and Maryland (FAR part 19.804-2(a)(5)). The RFP solicitation synposis is currently available for the public. Request a hard copy (146 pages) to be sent either by fax, e-mail (word doc PDF) , stop by office pick up, or mailed. A preproposal site visit is scheduled for Wed, 12 March 2008. Offerors attending the site visit are to report to the George G. Meade visitor Control Center (VCC), located at Reece road gate off of MD route 175. Report to VCC at 9:00 a.m. to be escorted to the Dining Facility. Attendance is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged. Period of Performance is one base year of 8 months, beginning 01 May 2008 - 31 Dec 2008 w/4 opt yrs POP 01 Jan 2009 to 31 dec 2012.
