- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is issued as Request for Quotations (RFQ) 62056001 for a Ludlum Model 4525-7000 Gate Monitor for detecting radiation, to include required installation and training. This solicitation is issued as Brand name or Equal. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION THAT WILL BE ISSUED; QUOTES ARE NOW BEING REQUESTED. The Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) intends to enter into a firm-fixed price contract. This announcement is published as a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE action per FAR 52.219-1 and 52.219-6. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This award will be based upon low price and conformity to requirements, determined through review of the program office of any equal items offered. NOTE: The Government shall be responsible for site preparation. Bid structure shall be by Contract Line Item Number (CLIN):
