- Description
- The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Office of Information and Public Affairs requires the services of a contractor to provide newswire distribution and translation services. The service will be for one (1) year with four-one year option periods. The contractor shall have: 1) national, local and Hispanic media lists (reaching a minimum of 3,000 media outlets), 2) the ability to transmit photos of recalled products, 3) a national network of reporters who are seeking "professional experts" for news stories and, 4) the ability to translate press releases into Spanish. The resultant contract shall be firm fixed price. The anticipated issuance date of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) is April 7, 2008 via fax at 301-504-6028 or by email at RSmith@cpsc.gov. No telephone request for copies of the RFQ will be accepted. In order to receive an award, contractors must be registered and have valid certification in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). No telephone request for copies of the RFQ will be accepted.
