Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number for this Request For Quote (RFQ) is Q2149080001. This acquisition is a 100% set aside for small business; the associated NAICS code is 424910 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The government will award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the lowest price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The contract for herbicide will be awarded on or about March,12 2008. REQUIREMENTS: Badlands National Park, Interior, South Dakota, has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of 235 gallons of Milestone Herbicide (EPA #62719-519) in 2.5 gallon containers and 200 gallons of Brewer 90 Herbicide in 2.5 gallon containers. Delivery is to be made FOB Destination to Badlands National Park, 25216 Ben Reifel Place, Interior, South Dakota, 57750-7020 between the dates of May 15, 2008 and June 1, 2008. The driver shall schedule deliveries with Laniece Sawvell at 605-433-5265, at least 24 hours prior to delivery. The purchase is a lump sum, Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The magnitude of the purchase is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Product Service Code 6840, NAICS Code 424910. The Small Business Standard is: 100 employees. Paper copies of this combined Synopsis/Solicitation will not be issued. Unless amendments are issued extending the solicitation, the offers are due by 2:00 pm MST, March 12, 2008. All vendors must be registered and current in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), (http://www.ccr.gov) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (https://orca.bpn.gov).
