- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotatio ns are hereby being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Aviation Integration Directorate anticipates awarding a contract on an other than full and competitive basis to Chelton Inc., 1955 Lakeway Dr, Lewisville, TX 75057 (CAGE 6356 3) for the purchase of Chelton Logic Units, Part Number 7-163PIN160HT, Quantity 13 each. The specified make and model is the only one tested, airworthiness approved and currently used for the desired application. No other make/model will be considered du e to expense, delay and logistical commonality. This solicitation W91215-08-Q-0003 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. The associated NAICS code is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Delivery of the units is required, FOB destination, within 18 weeks after contract award to Ft. Eustis, Virginia 23604-5577. Inspection and acceptance will be by the Government a t destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following clauses apply: FAR 52.204-7,FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and C onditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Commercial Items to include specifically FAR 52.203-6 Alternate 1, FAR 52.219-8, FAR 52.222-3, FAR 52.222-19, FAR FAR 52.222-21, FAR 52.222-26, FAR 52.222-35, FAR 52.222-36, FAR 52.222-37, FAR 5 2.222-39, FAR 52.222-50, FAR 52.232-33, and FAR 52.247-64, and DFARS 252.212-7001 to include specifically FAR 52.203-3, DFARS 252.225-7001, DFARS 252.225-7002, DFARS 252.225-7012, DFARS 252.225-7014, DFARS 252.243-7002, and DFARS 252.247-7023. The assigne d DPAS rating is DO-A1. Offers shall be submitted in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 and shall include identification of recent sales of the same or similar items, price, contract numbers, and points of contact with telephone numbers. Quotations are due no later than Wednesday, March 14, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. They are to be submitted to the Aviation Integration Directorate (AMCOM), Attn: AMSAM-TASO-I (Hilda E.
